Fourteen years ago, my husband and I were catapulted into this life, learning to navigate through a maze of NICU stays, multiple diagnoses, surgeries, and endless rounds of therapy and doctor appointments. Questions about handling new diagnoses and managing interactions with less understanding physicians became a part of my daily conversations, sparking a desire within me to create a space of support and understanding.
